Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and optimize electrical test processes for manufacturing operations to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with control, process, and manufacturing engineers to execute transfer projects and sustain improvement initiatives.
- Design and validate test fixtures, equipment, and software to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze test data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to resolve manufacturing defects or inefficiencies.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams on test procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
- Document test procedures, results, and improvements for internal audits and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement (CI) activities to drive operational excellence.
- Stay updated with industry advancements in test engineering and propose innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical test methodologies, test equipment, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in using test software and tools such as LabVIEW, Python, or C++ for test script development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IPC standards, or other relevant quality management systems.
