Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on automated manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, and resolutions in compliance with company standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Train operators on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
