Responsibility
- Lead process detection engineering for SPI, AOI, and AXI systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Drive new product introduction (NPI) and development initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of inspection technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to refine and enhance process engineering methodologies.
- Develop and implement sustaining engineering activities to maintain and improve existing production processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize defects and downtime.
- Optimize inspection parameters and algorithms to enhance detection capabilities and reduce false positives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in process inspection and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on SPI, AOI, or AXI systems.
- Proven expertise in new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to process optimization.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using process inspection tools and software (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Camtek, or similar).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related disciplines is a plus.
