Responsibility

  • Monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Identify root causes of process or yield issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve production efficiency and product consistency.
  • Document all process deviations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in compliance with ISO and FDA regulations.
  • Conduct regular equipment calibrations and performance validations.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment maintenance, preferably in medical devices or precision industries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, or other medical device quality standards is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document technical procedures clearly.
  • Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to urgent production issues.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies are advantageous.
