Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Identify root causes of process or yield issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve production efficiency and product consistency.
- Document all process deviations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in compliance with ISO and FDA regulations.
- Conduct regular equipment calibrations and performance validations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment maintenance, preferably in medical devices or precision industries.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, or other medical device quality standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document technical procedures clearly.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to urgent production issues.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies are advantageous.
