Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time production and delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of production staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high morale.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, maintenance, quality assurance) to resolve technical issues and optimize processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, yield, and cycle time, and prepare reports for management review.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process specifications, and quality control documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to team management.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
