Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and on schedule.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of manufacturing technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor and optimize operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline production workflows.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of the manufacturing team.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on production metrics, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools, such as ERP systems and production planning software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
