Responsibility
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for electrical and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Conduct process audits and identify areas for improvement using lean manufacturing principles.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions in the production line.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans for production issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a related role (internships or co-op experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with CAD software, process simulation tools, or manufacturing execution systems (MES) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and reporting.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
