Responsibility
- Oversee the strategic setup and launch of a new manufacturing facility, ensuring all machinery and workflows meet operational requirements.
- Direct end-to-end production operations, including planning, scheduling, and quality control to meet ambitious output targets.
- Implement and maintain world-class manufacturing standards (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor, and build a cohesive team of engineers, technicians, and production staff to drive a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including supply chain, R&D, and engineering to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage factory budget, operational expenses, and capital expenditure while optimizing resource allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with all local safety regulations, environmental standards, and automotive/electronics quality certifications (e.g., IATF 16949).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably within the automotive or electronics industry.
- Proven track record in greenfield projects, factory relocation, or large-scale facility setup.
- Deep understanding of production automation, process improvement, and international quality management systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Fluency in English with strong stakeholder management skills.
