Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and optimize CNC machining processes for medical device components to meet precision and quality standards.
  • Lead R&D initiatives to enhance product performance, material selection, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production) to streamline workflows and reduce time-to-market.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and CE regulatory requirements for medical device production.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
  • Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of new manufacturing processes.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices in precision engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining, medical device manufacturing, or precision engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and CNC programming (G-code, M-code).
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and medical device quality standards.
  • Experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and risk management (FMEA) in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
