Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Create and maintain detailed process routers, balloon drawings, and work instructions to standardize production workflows.
- Release and manage work orders, ensuring timely execution and adherence to production schedules.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to streamline operations and resolve bottlenecks.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing prototypes, testing processes, and scaling production.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and defect rates, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or production support.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Project).
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with process routing, work order management, and production planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex manufacturing challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
