Responsibility
- Support the installation, calibration, and qualification of new manufacturing systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to introduce process improvements and new technologies.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle time, and downtime, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or precision engineering industries.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, troubleshooting, and system qualification in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software, statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
