Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize assembly lines and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to integrate new technologies and best practices.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards to ensure a secure working environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime, and propose data-driven improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and process adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, automation (PLC, robotics), and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, OSHA, or other industry-specific safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
