Responsibility
- Develop and implement laser-based manufacturing processes to support NPI and production goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct process validation and troubleshooting to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on laser equipment and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laser processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in laser manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of NPI methodologies and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
