Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to refine product specifications and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and test prototypes, leveraging engineering principles to optimize performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing processes to enhance scalability and reduce time-to-market.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support their professional growth.
- Present product updates, technical findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, engineering, or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and prototyping techniques.
- Experience with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
