Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and improve product designs.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to streamline production.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to track manufacturing performance.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, new processes, and quality control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the electronics or interconnect industry.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
