Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of piping systems for WWTP projects according to international standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.)
- Develop piping specifications, material selection, and stress analysis for water treatment applications
- Prepare detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and construction drawings using CAD software
- Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and installation phases
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers
- Participate in HAZOP studies and risk assessments for piping systems
- Support commissioning activities and troubleshoot piping-related issues during startup
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping engineering for water/wastewater treatment projects
- Proficiency in piping design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, Caesar II, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of international piping standards and codes
- Experience with EPC projects and understanding of project lifecycle
- Familiarity with material selection for corrosive environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as needed
