Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure software functionality and performance.
- Prepare and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to align test cases with business requirements.
- Lead test execution activities, including regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Design and implement test strategies and plans for various software projects.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester, Test Lead, or Test Manager in software development projects.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
