Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in agile sprint planning and review meetings to provide testing insights and feedback.
- Conduct usability and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets end-user expectations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing to continuously improve testing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Test Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to effectively report and discuss test results with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development processes is a plus.
