Responsibility
- Translate technical documents, contracts, and communications between Mandarin and Indonesian/English.
- Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in all translations related to construction materials.
- Assist in negotiations and meetings between Chinese and Indonesian stakeholders.
- Review and proofread translated materials for clarity and precision.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive business documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify technical terminology.
- Provide interpretation services during site visits or virtual meetings as needed.
- Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and trends in construction materials.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and proficiency in Indonesian/English.
- Proven experience in translation, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
- Strong understanding of technical terminology related to construction materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with translation tools or software is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung).
