Responsibility
- Develop and implement interactive Mandarin lesson plans tailored to young learners (ages 5-12).
- Create a fun, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
- Use modern teaching aids, including games, songs, and multimedia, to enhance language acquisition.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development and address learning needs.
- Organize and lead cultural activities and events to deepen students’ appreciation of Mandarin and Chinese culture.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson progress.
- Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and incorporate innovative methods into your classes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field (or equivalent teaching certification).
- Proven experience as a Mandarin teacher, preferably with young learners (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or above) and strong English communication skills.
- Passion for working with children and ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Creative, patient, and adaptable teaching style with a focus on interactive learning.
- Familiarity with child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (preference given to candidates already in the region).
