Responsibility
- Deliver engaging Mandarin and/or English language lessons to preschool-aged children using Montessori principles.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, songs, games, and interactive activities.
- Assess and monitor students' language development progress through observations and informal evaluations.
- Create a bilingual classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate language learning into daily routines and thematic units.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childās progress and language acquisition milestones.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Education, Linguistics, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin and/or English; bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
- Prior experience teaching young children (ages 2-6) in a preschool, daycare, or Montessori setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and Montessori teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
- Certification in TEFL, TESOL, or early childhood education is a plus.
- Passion for working with children and fostering a love for languages.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
