Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including tender preparation, evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs and project timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and sustainability.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and analytics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or strategic sourcing, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Proven track record in tender management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
