Responsibility
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for drilling operations while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies with operational needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes
- Participate in supplier evaluations and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the oil & gas or manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing cost-effective contracts
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
