As the Operational Readiness Manager, you will spearhead cross-functional collaboration to guarantee that all Facilities & Engineering (F&E) systems, processes, and teams are fully prepared to deliver world-class healthcare from day one. Your strategic oversight will be critical in aligning infrastructure, workflows, and staff readiness with our mission of excellence in patient care.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive operational readiness plan for the new hospital, including timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-departmental coordination with F&E, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure all systems (HVAC, medical gas, IT, etc.) are commissioned, tested, and compliant with healthcare standards.
- Oversee the phased ramp-up strategy, including staff training, workflow simulations, and dry runs to validate operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and vendors to address gaps in infrastructure, equipment, or processes before go-live.
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track readiness progress and present updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations (e.g., JCI, ISO) for facility operations.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including updates to government agencies, investors, and community partners.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, or facility readiness, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in hospital or large-scale healthcare facility launches, including F&E systems commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., JCI, ISO 9001, local regulations).
- Exceptional project management skills (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Experience working in multicultural environments; familiarity with Southeast Asian healthcare systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and healthcare management software.
