Responsibility
- Work closely with operational leaders and the Plans Branch to determine manpower requirements and vacancies.
- Develop and implement workforce deployment and staffing strategies to meet operational needs.
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to forecast manpower needs and plan accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, as well as local labor laws.
- Provide HR support and guidance to operational leaders and employees.
- Monitor and analyze workforce metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on workforce planning and recruitment.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and local labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the rail or transportation industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
