Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor grant governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with sector divisions to assess grant applications, verify eligibility, and allocate funds in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on grant utilization, financial performance, and compliance status to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on grant management best practices, compliance requirements, and ethical standards.
- Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and funding partners to ensure adherence to contractual and legal obligations.
- Oversee the documentation and record-keeping of all grant-related activities to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Stay updated on changes in grant regulations, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, compliance, or governance, preferably in the healthcare or non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of grant regulations, financial reporting, and audit processes.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex compliance requirements in a practical setting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
- Certification in compliance (e.g., CGMS, CPA) or project management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
