Responsibility
- Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms, including M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging, under supervision (for trainees) or independently (for experienced candidates).
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret images and provide preliminary findings.
- Document patient data, imaging results, and technical observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards (if applicable).
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiac imaging technology and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Sonography, or a related healthcare field.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for 2D echocardiography (prior experience is a plus but not required).
- Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist patients with mobility limitations.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain it.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
