Responsibility
- Oversee night-shift fund accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and review daily NAV calculations, reconciliations, and investor reporting for assigned funds.
- Coordinate with global teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of financial statements.
- Monitor and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth audits and regulatory filings.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in fund accounting.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and clients as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high accuracy and productivity.
- Experience in a global or multinational environment is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
