The Kuok Group is currently seeking a seasoned Manager, Diving to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. In this critical leadership role, you will be the cornerstone of our offshore diving operations, ensuring that all activities adhere to the highest international standards of safety, quality, and technical precision.
You will collaborate closely with the Offshore HSSEQ department to drive operational excellence, provide expert technical guidance, and implement performance feedback loops that enhance team capability. Responsibility
- Oversee and manage comprehensive diving operations to ensure compliance with global maritime safety standards.
- Provide expert technical guidance to offshore teams regarding complex subsea projects and equipment maintenance.
- Partner with the Offshore HSSEQ team to refine safety protocols and incident prevention strategies.
- Evaluate and provide constructive performance feedback to divers and support personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to ensure safe work environments across all projects.
- Manage project documentation, diving logs, and compliance reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the planning and execution of offshore logistics and resource allocation for subsea infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial diving, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) standards and safety regulations.
- Proven expertise in offshore HSSEQ management systems and risk management frameworks.
- Relevant professional certifications in Commercial Diving or Maritime Engineering.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
