Responsibility
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Cloud & Big Data Architecture: Lead the architecture and optimization of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Data Governance & Quality: Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with global standards.
- AI & ML Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models and Agentic AI solutions into production environments.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability to meet business demands.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with IT, marketing, and operations teams to align data engineering initiatives with strategic business goals.
- Innovation & Automation: Drive automation and innovation in data workflows, reducing manual processes and improving efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java, and experience with Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, or Databricks.
- Data Warehousing: Expertise in designing and managing data lakes, warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and real-time data streaming.
- AI/ML Familiarity: Understanding of machine learning pipelines, MLOps, and Agentic AI frameworks to support data science teams.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve data infrastructure challenges.
- Soft Skills: Excellent collaboration, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
