Responsibility
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Support inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance team performance.
- Assist in menu planning and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and report any issues to management.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment by fostering teamwork and communication.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or F&B setting is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Korean or Indonesian is an advantage.
