Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system malfunctions efficiently.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and downtime reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment or upgraded systems as needed.
- Recommend and assist in the procurement of spare parts and maintenance tools.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
