Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, motors, control systems, and other industrial equipment.
- Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Install, test, and commission new mechanical and electrical systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and best practices to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics) and electrical systems (e.g., PLCs, wiring, motors).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
