Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential risks or inefficiencies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and food quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment or system upgrades.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and cross-functional teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar maintenance or technician role within manufacturing, FMCG, or food production.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, local standards) and quality management systems (ISO, HACCP).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is a plus.
