Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using troubleshooting techniques and repair or replace faulty components.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines, conveyors, and other industrial systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs, replacements, and service activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a zero-accident workplace by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or system upgrades.
- Support emergency repair responses to restore operations swiftly during breakdowns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or transportation sectors.
- Technical certification (e.g., vocational training, diploma) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in industrial settings.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, vibration analyzers).
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, or stand for extended periods.
