Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical machinery and equipment used in tobacco manufacturing, including maker and filter machines.
- Install, calibrate, and test new machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues, ensuring seamless workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to detect wear and tear, and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for reporting and analysis.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist in training junior technicians and operators on proper equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or tobacco industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
