Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to expand the supplier network and improve cost efficiency.
- Conduct negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to recommend improvements in procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with production and operational needs.
- Resolve vendor-related issues and discrepancies promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or transportation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Familiarity with supply chain best practices, inventory management, and contract law.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is required; additional languages are a plus.
