Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on resort facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of resort infrastructure to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to ensure all areas of the resort meet operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment logs.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or facilities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and resort policies during all maintenance activities.
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including after-hours callouts for urgent repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
- Technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Certification or training in maintenance-related fields (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
