Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and systems, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance projects, upgrades, and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards in all maintenance operations.
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost-saving improvements in facility operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial equipment repair, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, vibration analyzers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
