Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose issues in industrial machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime for critical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory usage, and equipment logs.
- Collaborate with facility managers and vendors to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and system installations.
- Conduct routine safety checks and ensure all equipment adheres to local regulations and company policies.
- Optimize energy efficiency by identifying opportunities for system improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or contractors as needed.
Qualifications
- A vocational diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in building or industrial maintenance, with expertise in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, thermal imaging cameras).
- Knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA or local Indonesian workplace safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document work clearly and interact professionally with stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical safety, or building automation systems are a plus.
