Responsibility
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues through systematic troubleshooting and implement effective repairs.
- Install, assemble, and commission new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and propose sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Recommend and implement equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance work complies with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
