Responsibility
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operational workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a secure working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members on maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as required.
