Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify root causes of failures.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and parts inventory.
- Source and manage spare parts and supplies, ensuring cost-effective procurement and stock availability.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) to create a hazard-free workplace.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, production lines, or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic controls, and motor drives.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., LOTO, PPE) and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts, as needed.
