Responsibility
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for palm oil mill equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with procurement to manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in the palm oil or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Proficient in using maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
