Responsibility
- Oversee all maintenance and engineering operations for the hotel, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Manage a team of technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align maintenance strategies with guest experience and operational goals.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate rapid resolution to minimize guest disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of technicians and contractors.
- Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices in Indonesia.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
