Responsibility
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of automated manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibration of machinery to maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair logs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Lead or assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment operation, safety protocols, and basic maintenance procedures.
- Source and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available for emergency repairs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated machinery in a manufacturing or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), pneumatics, hydraulics, and servo systems.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software, predictive maintenance tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with ISO, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call rotations as required.
