Responsibility
- Oversee the commissioning, qualification, and validation of biopharmaceutical equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, EMA) in all commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during equipment startup.
- Develop and maintain commissioning documentation, including protocols, reports, and SOPs.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for bioprocessing systems.
- Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical training and guidance to operational staff.
- Participate in project planning and execution to meet timelines and budgetary goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in biopharma commissioning, validation, or process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of bioprocessing equipment (e.g., bioreactors, chromatography systems).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EMA) and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Certification in commissioning or validation (e.g., ISPE) is a plus.
