Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot equipment failures and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Lead or assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery or system upgrades.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on best practices for equipment care and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience may also apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial machinery.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to emergency calls when needed.
