Responsibility
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements to reduce operational costs.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance management software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to maintenance operations.
