Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for semiconductor products, including microcontrollers, SoCs, and analog ICs.
- Lead validation and verification of embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
- Optimize automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, coverage, and scalability.
- Analyze test data and generate detailed reports for stakeholders, highlighting risks, defects, and performance metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in test methodology and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in semiconductor testing, including AI/ML-based validation tools.
- Support customer escalations by reproducing and debugging field issues in a lab environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with a focus on mixed-signal, analog, or digital IC testing.
- Proficiency in test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, ATE systems like Teradyne, Advantest).
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW for test automation.
- Experience with JTAG, SPI, I2C, UART, and other embedded communication protocols.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, JEDEC) and compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across global teams.
